Happy birthday!
On this evening, the 24th of September we celebrate one year of RC Kugelschreiber and I would like to thank you dear readers. I remember the emotion of the first post, of the high number of pre-publish reads and the joy I felt when I received congratulations and encouragements for the future. I didn't know if it has a future, if I could write more than 3 articles and if someone will read the stuff I write. But a year has passed and I'm still standing (yeah, yeah, yeah). Let's see in retrospective what happened around here in the last 365 days:

- 114 returning visitors
- readers from 3 continents ( that's what happens when friends are scattered around the globe)
- Top 3 loved articles: The adventures of two brothers, Urlaub in der eigenen Heimat and The Capital on the Seine

I remember the emotion of the first post, of the high number of pre-publish reads and the joy I felt when I received congratulations and encouragements for the future. I didn't know if it has a future, if I could write more than 3 articles and if someone will read the stuff I write. But a year has passed and I'm still standing (yeah, yeah, yeah). Let's see in retrospective what happened around here in the last 365 days:
- 48 posts
- 114 returning visitors
- readers from 3 continents ( that's what happens when friends are scattered around the globe)
- Top 3 loved articles: The adventures of two brothers, Urlaub in der eigenen Heimat and The Capital on the Seine
But not always things went smoothly. There were moments when I had no idea what to write next, frustrations, one gap month (July) and many typos corrected by friends. At a certain time I started writing only in English, but the attempt failed. Without the Romanian version, with Moldavian influences, the texts were just texts. In the meantime I returned to the things that worked good. My enthusiasm came also from the other nice bloggers. You can find them on the right-hand-side.
What will happen in the next year? The answer is the same as to the question: how do you call a deer with no eyes? (no idea). The purpose of the blog was to tell the stories of the places I travel to. Some of them famous, some of them not and to incite the desire to travel. So for the next year I wish that we travel together to new fantastic places. Moreover Kugelschreiber will become, hopefully, like those pens with 3 colors, available in Romanian, English and sometimes in German. I hope it will work. So let's blow the candle, cut the forelock and let a new palpitating year begin!
