Welcome!
Radu Cristian Elisei is my full name, reporting from Cologne, a town of about 1 million people, set on the quiet banks of the Rhine. For about one year I have been studying in this capital of German non-conformism and I decided that the time has come to share my personal and less personal experiences that I witnessed and will witness. The Headquarters are in the 121 Room of the A Dormitory in the SpoHo Campus, with a left-side view.
Why did I choose to write? Good question. I could say that the idea came to my mind last year, but then I had only a diary. But this year I became more courageous and I will write here. The purpose of the post is to amuse, to inform, to arouse interest or to have a medicine against boredom.
In this little place I will write about my experience here involving traveling, funny stories, differences in language and behavior between Germans and other peoples but also events, concerts and whatever happens here. I hope you will like what you find.
If you feel like it, I expect a lot of praise, constructive critic, shares ( yes, I know, I want so much :D), but also stories from around here that confirm or invalidate what happens here. Of course, if your route goes through Cologne, wave you hand and we'll meet for a city-tour, a brezel and some Kölsch beers.
See you soon!
