(A post written in February, finished in August and published in September)
Good morning!
In February this year I became the last person in my master studies class to switch from an old button cellphone to a smartphone. And given the variety of offers, the buying decision was not easy. A story about the weird effects of marketing and compatibility problems.

0 Last year in december, while I was home, every night I watched the ad from above that was on VH1. And although my thoughts about smartphone at that time were more like - meh... I loved the song.
Three months later the idea of a new phone came to being and I started the search. Excel sheets followed, where I compared the specifications, the quality, the prices, then I asked my friends about it, I read forums and in the end I was more clueless than when I started. The british are right: The more diversified your offer is, the harder it is to choose.
In the end I heard again the song and a new synapse was created in my brain. It was a cool song, it was. Suddenly I took a decision. I searched for the newest Nokia Lumia and I decided to buy a 630.
I was extra-happy after the purchase and I went home ( to the uni-campus in Cologne) to play with it on the internet. Unfortunately it failed to connect. All right then, let's head to the IT department. I found there a bored looking guy that was scrolling a mouse wheel. I explain my problem and tells me that in the campus I cannot be connected with a Windows Phone. I have apparently an "exotic" phone and his recommendation would be to buy a new one with Android or IOS. Extremely professional... Annoyed over the top I search for a solution and I found the answer - Virtual Router Manger- the software that transforms your PC into a virtual hot-sport.
After this everything went smoothly and I could enjoy my new toy. Shortly after that I discovered Cortana, the personal assistant. It's a funny girl. A post about her will follow. Until then I leave you with a small teaser: the answer to the command: Tell me a joke!
See you next time!
