Today is the 1st of June, the international children's day! So have a happy one, you children out there, or those who still have a child's soul.
Short history: in 1925, in Geneva, this day was proclaimed during the World Conference for the Well-being of Children, and starting from 1954 it has been celebrated yearly. In most of the countries the date is the 1st of June , but there are also some notable exceptions. For example, in Turkey they celebrate it on the 23rd of April, in Japan on the 5th of May, in Brazil on the 12th of October and in Cuba on the third Sunday of July.
A playful day to you all!
