Now it's the prime time for an accommodation recommendation. :) On my way to Germany I made a one-night stop in the Upper Austria in a place called Kirchheim im Innkreis. I loved it there and I think it's a good place to take a break when you are going on a long trip. If you travel from Romania to the west or go across the continent from north to south you can recharge your battery here. I've also met some Germans that where on their way to Croatia and they enjoyed their stay there.
After you leave the highway and drive through some nice hilly terrain, you'll find the place. A funny old man in shorts welcomes you and guides you to the room. There's a small problem, he doesn't speak English, but if you talk a bit of German, then you're saved. I stayed in a nice ex-barn that was comfortable, equipped with a fridge, electric stove, TV and an internet connection. The bathroom had all that you need, including two bags of perfumed toilet paper. :))
In the morning I served a rich breakfast with boiled eggs, cheese, meat, jam, butter, coffee, milk and juice. A single room costs 26 Euro and a double one 50 Euro, breakfast included. You can find their site here, and you can make a reservation through Booking here.

Have fun in your next trip!
