Hi there and welcome back!
Today was a sunny day in Cologne, but with temperatures around 3-4 degrees Celsius. The sun reminded me of a nice September afternoon when we celebrated a successful season at Playa in Cologne, my student work place. And the surprise of the day was Bubble Football.

This mini-business, which proved to be a success in Cologne was launched by two friends who work in IT: Andrei and Vlad. They come from Russia and Ukraine and in their spare time they follow their passion for football and tricks.
But what's actually Bubble Football? Zorb football, bubble football or bubble soccer was invented in Norway and it reached even the national TV. Then this sport expanded to Great Britain and since 2014 you can play it in the USA. Nowadays you can practice this sport also in New Zealand under the name Zoccer.
How do you play it? It's pretty simple. After the players stuffed their upper body in the plastic bubble they align themselves near their own goal while the ball is placed in the middle of the field. When the referee whistles everybody starts running towards the middle and then they try to score.
Advantages vs disadvantages? Being in a plastic bubble you are pretty much protected, only the legs can be at risk. But unfortunately it gets really hot in the bubble and you get tired fast.
After an hour of play and some substitutions we had to take a break and head to the showers. Anyway it's a nice activity for a sunny September afternoon.
